Friedenstein Palace in Gotha

This baroque complex is our pride and joy! After all, it is Germany’s largest baroque palace complex from the 17th century. You should plan about 2 hours for a tour of the 17th-century palace, which is located close to the city. Friedenstein Palace in Gotha is the largest 17th-century palace building in Germany. In the palace museum you can visit the ducal residential and representative rooms. Among other things, you will see important collections from the classicist period. The castle church in the north wing of the castle is also worth seeing.
