A path leads along two large themed loops up to the tops of the trees and, over a length of 540 metres, provides an insight into life in the treetops. At a height of 44 metres, a platform opens up views over the Hainich and the Thuringian Basin.
We are obliged, as a matter of principle, not to allow persons with signs of COVID-19 disease as well as general cold symptoms (cough, cold, fever, etc.) to enter the treetop trail.
The entrance is located at the lift. Tickets are available at the ticket office at the treetop path.
The adventure worlds in the National Park Centre remain closed.
A maximum of 100 people are allowed on the treetop path at the same time.
There will be a change in the route.
The lift may only be used by a maximum of 1 person.
We cannot guarantee accessibility at the moment, as the exit is only via the stairs at the observation tower.
There are currently no events or guided tours taking place.
Always keep a sufficient distance of about 1.5 metres from other people.
We recommend wearing mouth-to-nose coverings on the treetop trail and require it in some places.
Masks are compulsory at our ticket offices, in our shops, on the platforms, on the observation tower, in confined spaces and traffic routes (stairs/elevator).
It is preferable to pay without contact.
Refrain from shaking hands.
If you have to cough, please do so into a handkerchief or the crook of your arm.
Please maintain hand hygiene (washing hands thoroughly with soap and water and disinfecting).
